You can find Adventure Company Norway in the province Møre og romsdal, better known as the fjord area. The region is divided into three districts: Romsdal, Nordmøre and Sunnmøre. Our activities mostley take place in Ørskog, Stordal and around the storfjord hotel in Glomset. You can fined all places very close to eachother in the Sunnmøre district.

Ørskog

Ørskog municipality has approximately 2.120 inhabitants and covers an area of 129,5 km2. Ørskog has been inhabited from ancient times, as several prehistoric finds show. The municipality has long been a cultural centre in Sunnmøre. Ørskog is centrally located on the north side of Storfjorden, linking the outer coastal areas and the inner fjord districts in northern Sunnmøre. The main road Rv 650 from the fjord districts meets the E39 / E136 in the municipal centre, Sjøholt.

Are you looking for a pleasant hike or greater challenge in high mountains where you can stop and take a dip in a mountain lake or haul in a trout? Storfjorden is approximately 700 metres deep. Mountains in the area are Vaksvikfjellet, Lauparen 1.434 metres and Høgsvora 1.164 metres. The scenery is beautiful and varied. The Ørskog and Vaksvik mountains are the most favoured excursion areas for the entire district, both in summer and winter.

Stordal

With 1000 inhabitants Stordal is the smallest municipality of Møre og Romsdal. The countryside offers a lot of beautiful nature scenery. In winter time there are excellent ski possibilities at Overøye alpinsenter, but also in summer time there are a lot of possibilities for exciting adventures! Discover the mountains or try out your luck with fishing in Stordals river. Besides outdoor programs it is also possible to do activities indoors! Stordal has its own hall with climbing wall! Stordal might be Møre og Romsdal’s smallest municipality, it sure has much to offer for an exciting day or day’s!

Ålesund

The nearest city is Ålesund in the Sunnmøre district.

This magnificent city is all over the world well known for its rebuild in jugendstil, (art nouveau style) after the big fire of 23 January 1904, more than 10.000 people lost their homes that night. The city rebuild was completed in 1907, with the help of Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany who loved the area and did spend a lot off his holidays in Ålesund.
